In the beginning

This is the beginning of my open journal to the world. Finding an outlet for all of my feelings, dreams, goals and aspirations is something that I definitely need. I have been through so much in my 24 years on this earth. I want to inspire people to believe that there is nothing that they can't accomplish. I guess I will start with the things that I am dealing with right now.

I am currently in a longterm relationship with a wonderful man. He is my bestfriend and someone I really admire. We have been through everything from dealing with my crazy mother, to me accepting collect calls from him in jail. Although things are good between us now, it was a very long road to this point.

It all started when Kenalee, my best friend of 8 years at the time, was down in Florida visiting me. She was beggining me to go window shopping at the Fashion Square Mall. Now anyone who knows me, knows that if I don't have money, I don't go shopping. On this day, however, I felt bad that she had been in Florida for almost a week and I had not taken her anywhere, so I took her to the mall.

So we walk into D.E.M.O. (a popular clothing store) and decide to try on clothes (again, something I don't do when I don't have money). We each picked out a jumpsuit to put on, Ecko for her (skinny bitches!) and some off brand for me (aka fat girl). Have you ever noticed that when you get to a certain size, the odds that you will find more than one outfit in a normal clothing store declines exponetially? Well this is the case for me. So we decided to come out of the dressing room on the count of three to show each other our outfits. One...Two...Three. I opened the door to see a tall chocolate man wearing a red shirt, jean shorts and a koolaid smile.
